Ryan Azia is a privately collected multidisciplinary artist, recognized for his environmental portraits and appropriated images, with an emphasis on mosaic designs and line work that are symbolic, illustrative, conceptual, and abstract.

“There are no jobs in art,” all too often growing up, I heard that, and I accepted it as fact. Decades later, I realized they were right... There are no jobs in art and design, only passion and freedom. Art and design is everywhere, and as much as those words still echo, I finally decided to go against it. I returned to my initial purpose and decided to be creative once again. However, it wasn’t until I was diagnosed with cataracts and almost lost sight in both eyes that forced me to take it even more seriously. Going blind made me appreciate everything around me. Everything became beautiful and I wanted to remember it, and share it through images taken with a camera or through my artwork.
